IPG Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Strategic Planning to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of existing business and pitches, setting the strategic vision for brands, and growing senior client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for brands, including market research, customer insights, and disease state expertise.
  • Lead large and complex client workshops and brainstorming sessions, driving influence toward a strategic POV and recommendation internally and with senior clients.
  • Partner with other agency departments to ensure pull-through of insights and strategy, and drive organic growth on existing businesses.
  • Supervise and develop larger teams, delegate incoming tasks and assignments, and responsible for hiring and staffing decisions.
  • Participate in departmental and agency-wide initiatives, craft thought leadership pieces, and mentor and manage the next generation of strategists.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years in brand strategy or market research in an agency setting, with a minimum of 7 years in pharma/health experience.
  • Competent in software specific to the client and agency processes, including Microsoft Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent working knowledge in research tools, social media platforms, and AI platforms.
  • Strong executive presence and presentation skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects, adhere to timelines, and maintain organization.

Salary: $190,000 to $270,000 annually. The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
