About the Role:

TransUnion is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Planning Director to join our Enterprise Strategy & Transformation team. As a key member of this dynamic team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future direction of the Company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market opportunities and develop robust strategies to position the company beyond its current operational plans.
  • Conduct market research leveraging a wide range of primary and secondary sources to spot trends, identify evolving customer needs, and understand the implications of competitor moves, new technologies, and regulations.
  • Build business cases using both qualitative and quantitative analysis, including analyzing internal and external data sets, developing scenario-based forecasting models to support decision-making on potential new products, segments, geographies, partnerships, and acquisitions.
  • Extract insights from analysis, formulate pragmatic recommendations, and socialize and pressure-test them with key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Develop clear, compelling presentations to share findings and recommendations with a senior-level audience.
  • Support M&A efforts as needed, from diligence and integration through to combined strategy development and value realization.
  • Partner across our matrix to integrate strategic planning with financial and business planning.
  • Create ad hoc strategic analysis for the leadership team.
  • Communicate Enterprise strategy to key stakeholders and associates, ensuring that they understand the strategic plan and how it will achieve TransUnion's overall goals.
  • Support activities at the intersection of Strategy and Transformation; including investment tracking and selection, programs related to operating effectiveness and efficiency, and ensuring major initiatives are aligned to our enterprise strategy and priorities.
  • Provide strategic and tactical execution support for key executives (e.g., CEO, CFO) related to decision-making, cross-functional alignment, and 'moving the ball forward' across myriad activities across the global business.
