About the Role:

Forter is seeking a highly motivated Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to join its Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team.

The Director will report directly to the VP of FP&A and be responsible for:

  • Providing strategic financial advisory to the CRO, CCO, and CMO
  • Leading customer-level revenue and margin planning
  • Developing and implementing commissions strategy and processing

The ideal candidate will have prior experience partnering with executives, leading a GTM FP&A function, and working in a public SaaS company. They will also have a strong track record of mentoring and leading high-performing teams.

This position will be based in New York and will follow a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic financial plans in partnership with GTM leadership
  • Lead monthly forecasting and business review sessions with GTM executives
  • Lead the development of GTM KPIs and data analyses
  • Provide financial guidance and support to Sales, Marketing, and Customer organizations
  • Act as a financial liaison between the Finance department and other business units

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree; and/or MBA
  • 8-10 years professional experience, ideally with prior experience in GTM FP&A and investment banking, equity research, consulting, or related field
  • Prior experience working in a public company, ideally within the software industry
  • Demonstrated ability to scale teams and identify and execute process improvements
  • Ability to influence executive-level strategic decisions through data-driven insights

What We Offer:

  • $185,000 - $228,000 annually + bonus + equity + benefits
