About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at Weifield Group Contracting. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of our commercial projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Financial Management: Maintain accurate financial records, track project expenses, and ensure compliance with company financial policies.
  • Permitting and Scheduling: Prepare and submit permits, project schedules, and other necessary documents to ensure project start-up is efficient and effective.
  • Subcontractor Management: Oversee subcontractor performance, material tracking, and coordination of submittals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Close-Out Procedures: Execute project close-out procedures, including preparation of O&M manuals, warranty documents, and receiving all spare parts.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in project controls/coordination, preferably in the electrical industry.
  • Skills: Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, working knowledge of the electrical industry, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent computer skills, including MS Office suite and Accubid.
  • Personal Qualities: Motivation, detail orientation, and a refusal to accept second-best.
