About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at Wilbur-Ellis. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative clerical support to the customer service team, including order processing and inventory management.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner, providing solutions to their needs.
  • Assist with electronic order entry and processing, utilizing JD Edwards Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained to meet customer needs.
  • Prepare standard use and sales reports, as well as custom reports as requested by management, sales, and customers.
  • Assist other office team members in administrative tasks to ensure quality customer service, meeting deadlines, and sales support.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with computers to an intermediate level, utilizing Microsoft Windows, Windows applications, and ERP order entry systems.
  • Knowledge of mathematical concepts and the ability to apply such concepts as fractions, percentages, and ratios to practical application with accuracy.
  • Ability to sit at a desk and/or computer terminal to perform writing and/or keying/typing information for protracted periods of time.
  • Mobility to move freely across uneven terrain both indoors and outdoors safely.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills (verbal, written, and utilizing all media) for interaction with customers and fellow employees.
  • Practical organization skills with strong attention to detail, along with the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple assignments.
  • Ability to respond professionally to common inquiries or complaints from sales staff and other employees, customers, regulatory agencies, suppliers, etc.
