About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operational Risk Analyst to join our team at Comerica Incorporated. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of operational risk across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to business units on operational risk management practices, including risk assessment, control design, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  • Lead projects to enhance risk management capabilities, including process improvements and technology implementations.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on operational risk trends, issues, and mitigation efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, risk management, or business administration.
  • At least 7 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on operational risk management.
  • Proven track record of success in risk management, including experience with risk assessment, control design, and monitoring.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex risk concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
