Amerisure is in search of a Senior Vice President, Organizational Transformation who can adopt a hybrid work model. This role is ideal for a strategic leader with a proven history of spearheading organizational change and transformation initiatives. - Strategic Vision: Formulating and executing a transformation strategy that aligns with the company's long-term objectives. This includes establishing clear goals, pinpointing key initiatives, and ensuring alignment with business strategies.
- Leadership Development: Guiding and mentoring team members with a focus on talent development and succession planning.
- Innovation Leadership: Providing insights on innovative advancements that can enhance business operations; driving organizational change to boost efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Project Portfolio Management: Ensuring that the array of projects and programs aligns with the organization's strategic aims and delivers optimal value.
- Performance Metrics: Setting up metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of transformation initiatives, monitoring progress, and making necessary adjustments.
- Program Oversight: Leading the Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure successful delivery of programs and projects that add value to the organization.
- Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing enhancements across the organization to improve operational efficiency.
- Change Management: Leading change initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation and addressing resistance effectively.
- Cultural Transformation: Promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Agile Methodologies: Championing the adoption of agile practices to enhance responsiveness and foster a collaborative environment.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicating and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to ensure buy-in for transformation efforts.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identifying and addressing risks associated with transformation initiatives.
- Industry Insight: Keeping abreast of industry trends to maintain competitive advantage.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 15 years of progressive leadership experience.
- 7 years of experience in leading transformative initiatives.
- 7 years of experience in the financial services or insurance sector preferred.
- 10 years of project delivery experience, including both agile and waterfall methodologies.
- 5 years of experience in developing and implementing digital products and services.
- 5 years of experience with industry-standard business process methodologies.
- Familiarity with design thinking or similar innovation processes is preferred.
- Experience with insurance core system or ERP implementations.
- Ability to manage organizational change effectively.
- Strong relationships within the technology industry, particularly in insurance.
- Proven ability to translate technical capabilities into business opportunities.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building successful teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships across all organizational levels.
- Strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to identify and manage risks effectively.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
