Position Overview | Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience across various environmental project types and scales, covering all phases from assessment to remediation. Familiarity with NJDEP/LSRP projects is essential. Proven experience in project and task management is required, including effective coordination with management, clients, contractors, and project teams. We seek a candidate with a proactive and results-oriented mindset. The successful individual will collaborate with both junior and senior staff on projects of diverse complexity.

Key Responsibilities

Core responsibilities will encompass the execution and oversight of both technical and administrative elements of environmental remediation projects, along with staff management and client engagement.

Additional duties will involve crafting work scopes and cost estimates, directing and supervising soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion assessments, managing data, and preparing technical reports.

Required Experience

  • 6 to 12 years of experience in remedial investigations and the design and execution of remedial actions.
  • Thorough knowledge of NJDEP regulations and statutes (e.g., SRRA/LSRP, ARRCS, and TRSR), relevant technical guidance documents, regulatory timelines, documentation/reporting requirements, and SRP regulatory forms. Experience with Superfund projects and PADEP environmental regulations is advantageous.
  • Strong emphasis on superior technical writing skills, ensuring clear and concise communication of complex information.

  • Flexibility to travel to various project sites as required.

Educational and Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in physical or natural sciences, engineering, or geology.
  • An MS degree with a multidisciplinary technical background is preferred.
  • Completion of 40-Hour OSHA Hazwoper Training with Annual 8-Hour Refresher.
  • Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
