Position Overview | Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience across various environmental project types and scales, encompassing all phases from assessment to remediation. Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks is essential. The candidate should demonstrate strong project and task management skills, including effective coordination with management, clients, contractors, and project teams. We seek a proactive individual with a results-oriented mindset. The successful candidate will collaborate effectively with both junior and senior staff on projects of differing complexities.

Key Responsibilities

Core responsibilities will involve the execution and oversight of both technical and administrative components of environmental remediation projects, alongside staff management and client communication.

Additional duties include crafting work scopes and cost projections, directing and supervising investigations related to soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion, managing data, and preparing technical reports.

Required Experience

  • 6 to 12 years of experience in remedial investigations and the design and execution of remedial actions.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant environmental regulations and statutes, particularly those pertaining to NJDEP and associated technical guidance documents. Experience with Superfund projects and PADEP regulations is advantageous.
  • Strong emphasis on exceptional technical writing skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

  • Flexibility to travel to various project sites as required.

Education and Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in physical or natural sciences, engineering, or geology.
  • An advanced degree with a multidisciplinary technical background is preferred.
  • Completion of 40-Hour OSHA Hazwoper Training with annual refresher courses.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.
