Position Overview | Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience managing mid to large-scale projects, overseeing all phases from assessment to remediation. Familiarity with NJDEP/LSRP projects is essential, as is experience in large-scale project management, including collaboration with management, contractors, clients, and project teams. We seek a proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative environment, working alongside both junior and senior staff on diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties will encompass the implementation and oversight of both technical and administrative elements of environmental remediation projects, alongside staff management and client liaison responsibilities.

Additional tasks include:

  • Developing project scopes and cost estimates.
  • Directing and managing soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion investigations.
  • Data management and analysis.
  • Mentoring technical staff and producing technical reports.

Required Experience

  • Significant experience in remedial investigations and the design and execution of remedial actions.
  • In-depth knowledge of NJDEP regulations and statutes, including SRRA/LSRP, ARRCS, and TRSR, as well as relevant technical guidance documents.
  • Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring staff.

Education and Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • PE certification is preferred.
  • Completion of 40-Hour OSHA Hazwoper Training with an annual refresher.
  • Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
