Position Overview | Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience managing mid to large-scale projects, overseeing all phases from initial investigation to remediation. Familiarity with NJDEP/LSRP projects is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong capabilities in large-scale project management, including collaboration with management, contractors, clients, and project teams. We seek an individual with a proactive approach to problem-solving. The successful candidate will collaborate effectively with both junior and senior staff on projects of varying complexity.

Key Responsibilities

Core responsibilities will encompass the execution and oversight of both technical and administrative elements of environmental remediation projects, along with staff management and client communication.

Additional duties include formulating work scopes and cost estimates, directing and supervising investigations related to soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion, managing data, mentoring technical staff, and preparing technical reports.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience in remedial investigations and the design and execution of remedial actions.
  • In-depth knowledge of NJDEP regulations and statutes, including SRRA/LSRP, ARRCS, and TRSR, as well as associated technical guidance documents and reporting requirements. Familiarity with Superfund and PADEP regulations is advantageous.
  • Exceptional technical writing skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Experience in staff management and mentorship.

Education and Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • PE certification is preferred.
  • Completion of 40-Hour OSHA Hazwoper Training with an annual refresher course.
  • Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
