Job Overview:

As an Informatica Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of ETL processes that support our data warehousing initiatives. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless integration of diverse data sources, ensuring high-quality data for analytical purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage 7+ years of experience in developing ETL solutions to deliver robust database and programming solutions.
  • Utilize 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing Informatica applications.
  • Translate logical data models into physical implementations, optimizing ETL load performance through effective data transformation techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define new data source integrations.
  • Participate in a global team environment to design and support ETL architecture for data integration, data warehousing, and data marts.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in creating Mappings, Workflows, Sessions, and Reusable components using Informatica.
  • Responsible for data loading and validation within the data warehouse environment.
  • Conduct unit testing and work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure the integrity of ETL processes.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure teams for performance planning and capacity management.
  • Provide technical support to resolve issues and ensure system availability.
  • Document ETL processes and deployment instructions comprehensively.
  • Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Expertise in data modeling concepts and data aggregation strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of UNIX scripting.
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries for data validation purposes.
  • Familiarity with tools such as TOAD and SVN for daily operations.
  • Stay updated on Informatica best practices and new features to enhance development efficiency.
