To effectively synchronize IT solutions with organizational goals, a Solutions Architect must possess robust leadership and communication abilities, alongside a blend of technical and business acumen. Understanding the business needs of the organization is crucial to identifying suitable IT solutions that cater to both current and future aspirations. Your leadership will be instrumental in steering the identification of key business objectives and establishing the requirements for each solution. A significant aspect of your role will involve making informed technical decisions regarding specific solutions and their potential impact on business outcomes. The insights gained will guide the PSE team in executing solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Core Duties

  • Craft Project Proposals and Scopes of Work
  • Define project scope and develop comprehensive proposals and implementation strategies.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' existing systems and environments to devise optimal solutions.
  • Identify hardware and software requirements and compile appropriate bills of materials.

Establish and Uphold Standards for Solutions

  • Stay updated with emerging solutions and assess their relevance to our standard offerings.
  • Provide mentorship, education, and training to engineers across various teams as necessary.
  • Maintain awareness of how individual contributions and decisions integrate into the broader organizational framework.
  • Ensure compliance with established standards and adapt future implementations as needed.

Engage with Sales and Client Success Teams

  • Participate in proposal presentations and presales discussions with clients to ascertain business needs and requirements.
  • Define project scope and specifications for proposed solutions.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, or demonstrations for clients.
  • Offer guidance and make informed decisions regarding suitable technologies for diverse projects.

Collaborate with Project Teams

  • Address inquiries or assist in resolving issues as they arise among team members.
  • Ensure adherence to specifications and requirements.
  • Actively contribute to the project team from inception to completion.
  • Continuously monitor project scope to refine implementation standards and risk assessments for future initiatives.

Work with External Vendors

  • Collaborate with external vendors to develop solutions.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of partner discounts and agreements.
  • Coordinate with vendors to facilitate demonstrations for clients.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 15 years of hands-on experience in the IT sector.
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or equivalent certifications/experience.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a client-facing role.
