Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Informatica Developer with extensive experience in ETL processes and data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in SQL and Unix Shell, along with proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Over 7 years of experience in delivering ETL/database/programming solutions.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing Informatica applications.
  • Ability to interpret logical data models and utilize ETL skills for loading the physical layer, ensuring optimal performance of ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams and business units to define and implement new data source feeds.
  • Work within a global team to design, develop, and maintain ETL architecture for data integration, data warehousing, and data marts.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in creating Mappings, Workflows, Sessions, Reusable components, Parameters, and Variables using Informatica.
  • Responsible for loading and validating data into the data warehouse.
  • Conduct unit testing and coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure the accuracy of ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams for capacity and performance planning.
  • Provide support for technical issues and ensure system availability.
  • Develop and maintain scheduling logic for ETL processes using CA Autosys scheduler.
  • Ensure timely project deliveries and document ETL packages and processes.
  • Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Expert knowledge of data modeling concepts, data warehousing, and data aggregation strategies.
  • Strong understanding of UNIX scripting.
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries for data validation.
  • Familiarity with tools such as TOAD and SVN for daily operations.
  • Stay updated on Informatica best practices and new features to enhance development processes.
