Position Overview:
We are in search of a Program Manager with extensive experience in Business Associate roles, ideally possessing between 11 to 12 years of relevant expertise. Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the planning and execution of projects within the mainframe sector, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality benchmarks.
  2. Engage with cross-functional teams to establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business strategies.
  3. Create comprehensive project plans and related communication documents.
  4. Clearly communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely manner.
  5. Maintain ongoing communication with project stakeholders.
  6. Assess the resources and participants necessary to achieve project objectives.
  7. Prepare and submit budget proposals, recommending adjustments as needed.
  8. Negotiate with department managers for the acquisition of necessary personnel from within the organization.
  9. Identify and evaluate the need for additional staff or consultants, making appropriate recruitment decisions during the project lifecycle.
  10. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to suitable personnel.
  11. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  12. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using suitable tools.
  13. Monitor project milestones and deliverables.
  14. Prepare and present progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Qualifications:
  1. In-depth knowledge of CICS, z/OS Unix administration, z/OS, and Mainframe environments is essential.
  2. Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are critical for engaging stakeholders.
  4. Capability to delegate tasks efficiently and oversee the progress of various project components.
  5. Experience in budget management and resource allocation to achieve project objectives.
  6. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues.
  7. A proactive approach to project management, with the ability to foresee potential challenges and develop effective solutions.
