Job Summary:

The Room Attendant is a key member of the Sheraton Four Points Pleasanton team, responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing exceptional service to all guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to high standards, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our guests.
  • Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including setting up the housekeeping cart with necessary supplies and linens.
  • Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways, maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
  • Keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for our guests.
  • Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use, ensuring a smooth and efficient cleaning process.
  • Replenish chemical bottles, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.
  • Report any missing items from rooms, such as irons/boards or hair dryers, to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
  • Report any maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager, ensuring prompt attention to any issues.
  • Handle items for Lost and Found according to established standards, providing excellent customer service.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction, responding to any guest concerns or requests in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to stand during entire shift, maintaining a high level of energy and productivity.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with all levels of employees and guests in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $18.50/hr - $19.50/hr, offering a competitive compensation package for our valued team members.
