As a Senior Institutional Trust Officer within PNC's Institutional Asset Management division, you will have the opportunity to work remotely from various locations.

Job Profile

In this role, you will manage a varied portfolio of employee retirement and pension plans where PNC acts as Trustee, Custodian, Agent, or Investment Manager. You will serve as the primary contact for plan sponsors, recordkeepers, third-party administrators, and consultants, ensuring all necessary functions are executed to effectively service retirement and pension plan clients.

Your responsibilities will include conducting annual administrative reviews, evaluating various governing documents to ensure compliance with fiduciary duties, achieving targets for outbound relationship review calls, assisting with account and plan inquiries, and collaborating closely with the Closely Held Business and Special Assets departments regarding non-liquid assets.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide services to Institutional Asset Management clients by executing the terms of corporate assets, retirement plans, or charitable and endowment documents where PNC serves as trustee or agent. Oversee more complex institutional accounts and ensure adherence to all legal and fiduciary regulations, policies, and procedures. Manage a diverse portfolio with various account types.
  • Deliver comprehensive Institutional client services to enhance the Institutional Asset Management business and ensure an exceptional client experience. Administer assigned accounts in accordance with relevant documents, state and federal regulations, and internal policies.
  • Address risk management and resolve legal and compliance-related issues for assigned accounts. Maintain communication with clients and business partners, troubleshoot problems, and escalate known or anticipated client concerns. Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
  • Retain and manage assets under administration by educating clients on available tools and resources, working collaboratively with clients, beneficiaries, and gatekeepers. Regularly meet with clients to strengthen relationships and identify their needs, referring them to partners for additional bank products and services as opportunities arise.
  • Collaborate with Institutional Asset Management partners to support customer communications, technology requirements, or presentations, and introduce team members to meet client needs for assigned accounts. Prepare and present relevant materials for management or committee review.
