Position Overview:
We are in search of a seasoned and proactive Estate and Trust Manager to oversee our estate and trust operations. This permanent hybrid role offers a blend of remote and in-office work, allowing for a balanced professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise the administration of estates and trusts, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Provide expert guidance on estate and trust taxation, assisting clients in minimizing tax liabilities while maximizing wealth.
3. Formulate and execute comprehensive wealth transfer strategies to facilitate efficient asset distribution to beneficiaries.
4. Offer tax consultation to clients, clarifying the tax implications of their estate and trust arrangements.
5. Develop philanthropic planning initiatives, supporting clients in achieving their charitable objectives.
6. Deliver exceptional client service, fostering strong relationships and providing necessary support and guidance.
7. Lead and mentor a team of estate and trust professionals, offering direction and support for their success.
8. Stay informed on changes in estate and trust legislation, ensuring organizational compliance at all times.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline is required; a Law degree is highly preferred.
2. At least 5 years of experience in estate and trust management, ideally within the Mortgage sector.
3. In-depth knowledge of estate and trust laws and regulations.
4. Proven experience in estate taxation and wealth transfer planning.
5. Proficient in providing tax advice to clients.
6. Experience in philanthropic planning.
7. Strong client service abilities, with a talent for building lasting client relationships.
8. Excellent management and leadership capabilities, with a knack for inspiring a team.
9. Superior communication skills, capable of simplifying complex estate and trust concepts.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to make informed decisions based on thorough analysis.
