Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Materials Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies throughout our production process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement and Planning: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Inventory Management: Analyze and optimize inventory levels to maintain a balance between supply and demand.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Foster strong relationships with suppliers to establish strategic partnerships and ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Operations Support: Provide support to production teams to ensure efficient and effective use of materials and supplies.
  • Stockroom Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and supplies.

Requirements

  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in a complex production environment.
  • ERP and MRP Systems: High level of proficiency in the implementation and use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
  • Inventory Management: Proven experience in inventory management, with success in implementing and executing effective inventory reduction strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Knowledge of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing concepts.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Highly experienced user of Microsoft Office Suite to create documentation, spreadsheets, and databases to support Manufacturing operations.
