Executive Liaison

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Executive Liaison to support the Army Project Director Sensors-Aerial Intelligence (PD SAI) at the Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) and above levels.
This role requires a strong understanding of program management and coordination services, as well as the ability to interface with senior-level personnel and Congressional staffers.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience working at the Pentagon and will be able to provide subject matter expertise on acquisition policy and procedures.
Responsibilities will include exercising management support and coordination services, assisting PM Project Managers in the development and coordination of acquisition strategies, and advising ASA (ALT) and PM leadership on cost, schedule, risk, political, economic, and technical issues.
The Executive Liaison will also serve as the focal point for justification and defense of PM programs before OSD, PEOs, MACOMs, supporting staffs, and systems contractors.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exercise management support and coordination services for PD SAI at the HQDA and above levels.
- Assist PM Project Managers in the development and coordination of acquisition strategies.
- Advise ASA (ALT) and PM leadership on cost, schedule, risk, political, economic, and technical issues.
- Serve as the focal point for justification and defense of PM programs before OSD, PEOs, MACOMs, supporting staffs, and systems contractors.
- Synchronize program actions and decisions with Congressional staffers through the Congressional Affairs Actions teams in ASAALT.
- Assist PM and PdM's in reviewing acquisition documentation and advising on acquisition policy and procedures.
- Provide subject matter expertise on ACAT Milestone Decision project management and planning activities.
- Provide SME and Action Officer expertise at the HQDA level on all actions needed to be accomplished for successful transit through the complex Acquisition community at the Pentagon level.
- Maintain POM data and update POM documentation and data throughout the budget cycle.
- Provide the single point of entry for support to budget data calls as required by applicable Comptrollers, OSD Staff, Congress, General Accountability Office (GAO), and other external entities as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Direct knowledge of support and coordination services for PD SAI at the HQDA and above levels.
- Minimum of five years' experience working at the Pentagon with senior-level personnel and Congressional staffers.
- Ability to talk and interact with people proactively.
- Critical thinker.
- Program Management (PM) awareness.
- Able to move fast and adjust quickly.
- Able to multitask.
- Clearance: TOP SECRET clearance required for this position. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain a TOP SECRET//SCI Secret Government Clearance.
