Primary Responsibilities:
Support for Customer Teams
- Assist customer teams in analyzing the competitive landscape, identifying category trends, and understanding performance drivers related to promotions, innovations, and pricing.
- Collaborate with customer leads and the Director of Revenue Growth Management (RGM) to develop effective pricing strategies.
- Facilitate the creation of monthly and annual volume forecasts and promotional calendars.
- Enhance the sell-in and line review processes by preparing financial scenarios, product P&Ls, and supporting the development of presentation materials.
- Evaluate weekly order data and coordinate with supply teams to maintain optimal service levels.
- Provide ad hoc reporting for customers on a weekly and monthly basis as required.
- Establish and uphold pricing and trade strategies across various customers and product lines.
- Refine pricing models to boost revenue and enhance profitability.
- Develop and track key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of pricing strategies.
- Analyze pricing data to derive insights and make informed recommendations.
- Evaluate promotional effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly to maximize return on investment.
- Assist the sales team during annual and semi-annual customer negotiations by providing analytical support and strategic recommendations.
- Conduct semi-annual market pricing assessments to identify opportunities for price adjustments across products and customers.
- Collaborate with Sales and Finance teams to ensure budget compliance and support the development of corrective actions when necessary.
- Contribute to the accurate construction of customer P&Ls by appropriately allocating gross to net figures.
- Manage and maintain trade management tools, systems, and applications.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Sales Strategy, Planning, Operations, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of P&L dynamics and key RGM drivers for growth.
- Familiarity with market intelligence systems such as IRI, Circana, and PowerBI.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to create effective sell-in materials.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- A results-oriented approach with a commitment to achieving and surpassing sales objectives.
