Key Responsibilities
  • Craft recommendations using a data-driven approach to inform pricing decisions that impact our growth and bottom-line.
  • Collaborate with Actuarial, Regional Leaders, Plan Design, and Sales teams to develop a winning portfolio strategy for each Oscar market.
  • Identify and research profitability tradeoffs, market trends, and membership insights to drive company-wide strategic decisions.
  • Support the development of activity-based financial models to support finance and business strategic initiatives.
  • Report intra-year membership analytics to leadership to understand the health of the business.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or 4+ years of commensurate experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in consulting, corporate strategy, market development, finance, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in Excel and PowerPoint, demonstrating proficiency in building models and generating reports, analyzing large datasets, using pivot tables, formulas, and conditional formatting.
  • 1+ years of experience synthesizing and summarizing findings through data visualizations and effective storytelling.
  • 1+ years of experience running data and financial analyses and working cross-functionally to drive opportunities and increase growth & profitability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Healthcare experience and an understanding of provider/payer market, particularly in the ACA marketplace.
  • Management consulting, market research, or data analysis experience.
  • Experience with Tableau.
