We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Marshalls. As a key member of our store operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our store.
Key Responsibilities- Support store management in the execution of administrative functions, including scheduling, expense account monitoring, and supply inventory management.
- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Assist with the hiring process, including scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Associate personnel files.
- Perform daily cash office functions and maintain cash office standards.
- Support the Operations Assistant Store Manager with scheduling, expense account monitoring, supply inventory management, and requisition.
- Ensure proper Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience.
- Support and respond to coverage needs throughout the store.
- Communicate effectively with management and Associates to prioritize tasks and provide progress updates.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to increase effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
- Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Capable of multi-tasking and responding to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Able to train others and provide guidance.
- 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
