The Role

We're seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our go-to-market motion, you'll be responsible for identifying and engaging with prospects, qualifying leads, and setting appointments for our sales team. Your primary objective will be to drive revenue growth and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and create new leads to increase sales pipeline
  • Set appointments for the Cofounders (sales team)
  • Maintain consistent and meaningful prospect outreach via phone, email, and social platforms
  • Possess a strong understanding of the company's value proposition, target market, and positioning
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospects' objections and rejections
  • Meet monthly quota of qualified appointments
  • Maintain an active social presence on LinkedIn that generates strong brand awareness
  • Participate in discovery sessions, demos, and proof of concepts
Requirements:
  • Self-motivation, high drive, and ability to self-manage
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and take delight in helping customers discover solutions
  • Intellectual curiosity and creativity in your approach to prospecting and solution selling
  • Competitive but honest streak - you want to win, but you want it to be a win-win
  • Collaborative attitude and a strong ability to build relationships with teammates, customers, and partners
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences in person, via phone, or via email
  • Ability to converse and engage with senior-level decision-makers
  • Experience in a sales development role interacting with executive stakeholders, leading presentations, and prospecting
  • Flexibility to travel to meet customers, attend events or conferences or wherever the work takes you
  • Knowledge of supply chain applications (WMS, ERPs, etc.) and manufacturing/industrial clients a plus
