Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to recipes for food preparation.
  • Wash, peel, and chop fruits and vegetables; clean and prepare meats.
  • Prepare cold dishes, appetizers, and salads.
  • Utilize various cooking methods including baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming.
  • Produce baked goods such as breads and rolls.
  • Portion, arrange, and garnish dishes for service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in work areas including cutting boards and countertops.
  • Properly secure and store food items.
  • Focus on enhancing guest satisfaction and respond to feedback.
  • Follow safe food handling protocols.
  • Implement sustainability practices in line with company initiatives.
  • Practice safe working habits and utilize protective equipment.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School diploma is preferred.
  • Prior culinary experience or equivalent training is required.
  • A Department of Health Sanitation certificate may be necessary.

Work Environment

  • Work hours may vary, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical demands include standing for long periods, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and bending.
