Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver patient meals, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to understand dietary needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and safe food service environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Operate department software to support patient and retail services, including cash handling and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute menu development, ensuring nutritional value and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of experience in healthcare food service preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
