About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at McLeod Software. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire new customers and expand existing relationships in the transportation industry.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at transportation companies, including carriers, brokers, and shippers.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities, and work with our sales team to close deals.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and leverage this knowledge to drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and execute sales campaigns and promotions.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the transportation industry.
  • Proven track record of success in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Strong relationships-building and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
