SMB Account Manager

CrowdStrike is seeking a skilled Corporate Account Manager to drive sales growth in the small to mid-size business segment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for cultivating and sharpening your sales skills through our robust training and development program.
This full sales cycle role requires proactive advocacy for customers, focusing on high levels of adoption to ensure customer satisfaction. You will balance discovering upsell and cross-sell opportunities while partnering with our renewals team to ensure timely renewals.
This hybrid-remote position requires occasional office visits in Austin, TX for team building and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver value to existing customers
- Manage contract renewal cycles from initial meetings to negotiation and signature, ensuring customers renew at an escalated ARR rate
- Achieve quota of new sales growth within the customer base
- Be a customer advocate, driving relationships with key customers and creating new champions
- Identify whitespace in accounts and create value-based presentations to promote upgrades and cross-sells
- Consult with customers to recommend additional solutions from the CrowdStrike portfolio to increase ingestion
- Develop and execute account strategies to maximize growth
- Provide high-touch customer service, including support issue escalation and coordination
- Deliver feedback to Product Management on feature requests and product enhancements from the customer base
- 1+ years of sales development experience or 1+ years of full sales cycle experience in account management or net new logo capacity, selling to technical audiences
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Light experience with sales qualification frameworks like Medic, Medpicc, or Sandlar
- Track record of meeting expectations in individually focused roles with quotas and metrics
- Ability to balance daily tasks and adjust priorities in fast-paced environments
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn quickly
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort handling client objections and negotiations
- Security or SaaS experience a plus
