Position Overview

The Mobile Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that mobile applications perform as intended. This role involves establishing testing protocols and supervising the work of other testers to guarantee the quality and accuracy of their outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all facets of test execution for mobile projects.
  • Assess testing requirements to align with project timelines.
  • Maintain appropriate resource allocation within budget constraints.
  • Encourage teamwork across various departments to facilitate successful project outcomes.
  • Evaluate testing results and other relevant data to promote ongoing enhancements in quality and efficiency.
  • Guide team members in software development, testing methodologies, and analytical techniques.

Job Summary

The role entails validating that mobile applications function correctly and meet specified requirements. Responsibilities may include setting testing processes for other team members, conducting functional, regression, integrated, and performance testing, managing test data, and overseeing test environments. The specialist will ensure compliance with established testing standards and frameworks.

This position also involves leading the development, maintenance, and execution of test scripts, managing defect tracking, and conducting specialized testing activities related to both manual and automated testing. The specialist will identify opportunities for enhancing the quality and efficiency of the testing process and will be responsible for the daily testing activities across multiple releases.
