Position Overview:

The Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) is dedicated to serving individuals with disabilities, focusing on diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and racial justice. The mission is to support individuals in achieving their goals related to employment, education, and independent living. This role involves coordinating customer case records and documentation within a field office, facilitating service delivery activities for clients in the Bureau of Customer and Community Field Services/Vocational Rehabilitation Program. Responsibilities include performing clerical tasks essential for managing sensitive case files and documentation, both electronic and hardcopy, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with counselors and utilize the case management system to prioritize customer service delivery.
  2. Regularly meet with counselors to review case management activities and address any challenges.
  3. Assist applicants, program participants, and stakeholders in understanding program rules, policies, and eligibility criteria.
  4. Manage and prioritize incoming communications, including mail, emails, phone calls, and in-person inquiries.
  5. Engage with Vocational Rehabilitation Program staff to plan and discuss casework activities.
  6. Perform additional duties as assigned that align with the responsibilities outlined above.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Completion of four (4) years of high school or equivalent.
  2. Two (2) years of clerical experience demonstrating proficiency in keyboarding functions.

Conditions of Employment:

  1. Ability to travel for training purposes.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
