Crisis Intervention Specialist: Community Support Team

Role Objective:
The Emergency Response Unit is centered on recovery and resilience, providing intensive, community-oriented rehabilitation and outreach services. This collaborative team approach includes essential mental health rehabilitation interventions and support designed to assist individuals in achieving and sustaining their recovery and resilience objectives. Services are delivered in natural environments and can be conducted face-to-face, via telephone, or through video conferencing with clients and their families/significant others, prioritizing the well-being and benefit of the individual.
Required Qualifications:
- Expertise in individual, family, and group counseling, case management, and motivational interviewing
- Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention and debriefing
- Capability to organize and deliver educational sessions for clients, families, and community resources
- A strong commitment to being part of a mission-driven organization
- A collaborative team-oriented mindset
- A genuine desire to impact lives positively
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Mental and Risk Assessments on clients in crisis, both in the community and at designated locations.
- Motivate and collaborate with staff to enhance effective clinical practices
- Assume primary case management duties for assigned clients
- Facilitate individual and/or family counseling and educational sessions for clients and their family members
- Ensure client service records are maintained in accordance with established standards, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain effective communication with all team members (e.g., admissions, processes, and discharge planning)
- Coordinate services from various community resources and organizational services
- Engage with law enforcement in diverse settings for daily staffing and follow-up communications
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline
- Valid driver's license
Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts
- Day shift, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
- Monday to Friday
