About the Role

This position exists to create preference and active-users in law schools and law firms by assessing customer needs, developing business plans, and promoting LexisNexis products and services. It also involves assisting the commercial account team in uncovering leads and opportunities that result in revenue.

Responsibilities

  1. Supporting law school and law firm customers to increase active users
  2. Working at all levels, including students, faculty, associates, partners, librarians, and leadership
  3. Developing strategic account plans and recognizing sales
  4. Managing law school accounts independently and partnering with law firm client managers
  5. Demonstrating deep product, content, or practice area knowledge
  6. Preparing and delivering specialized customer presentations to communicate value propositions and differentiators
  7. Conducting research and analysis, and sharing information
  8. Developing and executing marketing strategies to meet student, faculty, and staff needs

Requirements

  1. Hold a Juris Doctor degree; State Bar membership is preferred
  2. Possess legal practice, training, or sales experience
  3. Display excellent verbal and written communication skills
  4. Experience developing account plans and coordinating key stakeholders and resources
  5. Demonstrate outstanding networking capabilities and professional demeanor
  6. Be able to travel based on client and business needs
