Position Overview

The Administrative Operations Associate plays a crucial role in providing essential administrative support to the department. This position collaborates closely with the department Chair and encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Coordinating departmental initiatives, which may include academic events, recruitment drives, faculty engagements, and student organization activities.
  • Acting as the primary contact for procurement and purchasing inquiries.
  • Facilitating communication between faculty, students, university officials, and external stakeholders.
  • Collecting data and preparing comprehensive reports.
  • Drafting correspondence and composing letters as needed.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Responding to inquiries in accordance with established departmental protocols.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by the department Chair.

Minimum Qualifications Required

  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative office setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An Associate degree is preferred.
  • Experience within the higher education sector is advantageous.
