  • Performance Consultation: Engaged in discussions regarding unplanned changes that may impact operational performance, including route alterations and unexpected delays.
  • Route Management: Informed about modifications to the start and end times of routes.
  • DOT Physical: Having a Department of Transportation physical is preferred.
Detailed Duties:
  • The Operations Vehicle Coordinator oversees all operator-related activities, which include managing report times, assigning vehicles, and distributing essential documents such as manifests and bulletins. Each coordinator is trained to assess operators' fitness for duty and must complete the organization's operator training program.
  • This role also involves coordinating with extra board operators as necessary and liaising with the maintenance department for vehicle exchanges and maintenance tasks. Additionally, the coordinator reviews trip manifests and pre-trip documentation for accuracy and assists in the fare reconciliation process.
  • Proficiency in Trapeze PASS, Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office is essential for this position.
