Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our General Merchandise (GM) team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing, advancing, and closing partnerships and executing new businesses and expansion of existing business, utilizing data and analytics to sell Ibotta's value proposition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet/exceed annual revenue targets through the development, advancement, and closure of partnerships and execution of new businesses and expansion of existing business
  • Lead the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification to contract negotiation by working with clients, prospects, and internal teams
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations that educate prospective clients on Ibotta's value proposition, roadmap, and partnership opportunities considering which products would best suit the client's needs
  • Execute and deliver on initiatives (commonly cross-functional) that provide business impact beyond individual's accounts
  • Travel up to 40%
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience in a data-driven sales role
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proven success breaking into and expanding enterprise accounts preferred
  • Experience selling digital, mobile, or media advertising solutions into verticals such as CPG, General Merchandise, or retail preferred
  • Proven ability to sell into high-level leadership (including C-level) and to navigate potential customer organizations to connect with the business owner/decision maker
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Expert negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close the deal
