Job Overview

The Sales Representative for Control State Markets is accountable for driving and securing sales within designated territories. This role encompasses acquiring new clients and addressing the needs of current accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Adhere to established protocols to market and sell the company’s offerings within a specified geographic region or a defined set of customer accounts to achieve sales objectives.

Actively seek out sales opportunities, engage with both existing and prospective clients, evaluate their requirements, and recommend suitable products and services.

Enhance sales acumen and gain in-depth knowledge of the company’s offerings and clientele by collaborating with seasoned sales professionals.

Resolve customer inquiries and issues effectively.

May involve merchandising tasks as part of servicing accounts, which includes organizing product displays, maintaining cleanliness of shelves, restocking items, and setting up promotional displays.

Job responsibilities may require working evenings and weekends for promotional events and other account-related activities.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred; or a combination of education and relevant experience. A valid state driver’s license and compliance with vehicle insurance requirements are necessary, along with any state-mandated Alcohol Beverage Commission License. The role requires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Demonstrated capability to devise sales strategies aimed at boosting wine and spirit sales.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with management, peers, and clients across all levels of the business.
  • Candidate must be at least 21 years old.
