Interdisciplinary Supervisory General Engineer/Physical Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Interdisciplinary Supervisory General Engineer/Physical Scientist to join our team at the Department of Energy. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing technical programs and projects, developing and implementing project review methodologies, and overseeing engineering and science-based reviews of OCED projects and programs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of engineering and scientific professionals to develop and manage technical programs and projects.
- Develop and implement project review methodologies to support decision-making.
- Oversee engineering and science-based reviews of OCED projects and programs.
- Review and evaluate technical aspects of design and construction progress.
- Assist in managing OCED contracts and providing support service contractors.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- Must be registered for Selective Service (if applicable).
- Must meet the basic education requirement for Physical Scientist (1301) or General Engineer (801).
- Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-14 in the Federal service.
