Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interdisciplinary Supervisory General Engineer/Physical Scientist to join our team at the Department of Energy. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineering and scientific professionals to develop and manage technical programs and projects.

  • Conduct independent engineering reviews and other technical assessments of projects.
  • Research and interpret program-related laws, regulations, guidelines, and procedures.
Requirements
  • GS-15 level experience in leading a team of engineering or scientific professionals.
  • Experience in developing and implementing engineering and scientific regulatory program guidance, procedures, and policies.
  • Experience in conducting independent engineering reviews and other technical assessments of projects.
  • Strong knowledge of physical and mathematical sciences underlying engineering.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
