Job Description

This is a management-in-training position that requires a strong focus on customer service, leadership skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. As a Front-end Shift Supervisor, you will assist the Customer Service Manager with supervising and coordinating front-end activities, lead by example, and perform all duties of a cashier and courtesy clerk.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading by example and modeling correct behavior and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Operating a cash register and performing all duties of a cashier and courtesy clerk.
  • Packages and handling customers' groceries according to their preference.
  • Collecting shopping carts from inside and outside the store.
  • Keeping the work area neat, clean, and organized.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, three to six months related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • The ability to read, comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, paid weekly, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401K.
