- Lead and manage the Sales team to achieve sales targets and goals.
- Hire, train, schedule, coach, counsel, and motivate employees to maintain high levels of employee morale and department productivity.
- Sales and Marketing
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base.
- Operations and Administration
- Monitor and control departmental expenditures to ensure meeting operational standards while maintaining annual budget.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Hotel Management preferred or equivalent experience required.
- Five years minimum experience in Sales in the hotel industry, including at least three years in a hotel sales leadership role.
- Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems.
This is a full-time position that requires up to 10% travel.
