KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice.

Responsibilities:
Deliver tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships for a diverse range of clients, from Fortune 100 companies to mid-market businesses.

Advise on transaction calculations, partner economics, tax distributions, and various events throughout the partnership lifecycle.

Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on high-quality partnership consulting and reporting, incorporating technology design and industry expertise.

Lead, mentor, and train teams of tax professionals on processes and technical tax matters; manage a portfolio of clients of varying sizes and act as the primary contact for both internal and external clients.

Oversee the risk and performance of engagements, which may involve project budgets, resource allocation, status updates, and financial metrics.

Stay informed on current tax practices, emerging technologies, and tools utilized in client service delivery; participate in technology or process development initiatives and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm.

Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of recent experience in an accounting firm with a focus on partnership federal and state tax compliance.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.

Licensed CPA, Enrolled Agent, or J.D./LL.M., along with other credentials on KPMG's approved list; individuals lacking at least one of the approved designations/credentials upon employment must obtain one within one year of hire; the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials can be provided by your recruiter.

Demonstrated commitment to quality service, strong technical skills, and critical thinking abilities; proficiency with MS Office applications and third-party tax reporting software.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
