We are seeking an experienced Tax Partner to join our Middle Market team at Cherry Bekaert. As a key member of our Tax Practice, you will be responsible for serving and growing clients in our Austin practice. With limited travel in this region, you will have the opportunity to focus on building strong relationships with our clients and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of tax professionals in providing personal, compliance, and business tax planning services to middle market corporate and large pass-through clients.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to drive business growth and improve client outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other partners and firm leaders to identify business development opportunities and expand the practice.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to managers and staff to develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • Active CPA license.
  • Expertise in partnerships (flow-through entity taxation) and experience with complex federal corporate, multi-state, individual, and partnership compliance and planning.
  • Exceptional client service skills and ability to lead a client service team.
  • Strong leadership and staff development skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with other partners and provide guidance to clients.
