Job SummarySyndeo Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Inventory Manager to join a family-owned ag-fertilizer supply company in El Dorado, KS. This is a direct hire opportunity.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the procurement process for all necessary supplies, equipment, and services required by the organization.
  • Work closely with other departments to accurately forecast demand and ensure that stock levels are aligned with the needs of the business.
  • Maintain inventory management processes, policies, and systems to ensure the accuracy of inventory levels.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the speedy delivery of quality goods and services.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and service requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers.
  • Manage and perform daily inventory activities including counting and tracking inventory levels.
Requirements
  • Associate's / Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or supply chain management / will consider experience in lieu of.
  • Proven working experience as a Procurement & Inventory Manager, or similar role with a minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, including buying and negotiating contracts with suppliers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Knowledge of inventory management concepts and techniques
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
