About the Role

Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe is seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our dining establishment. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery, managing staff, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in training and developing staff
  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including inventory management and cost control
  • Manage staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
  • Ensure excellent service delivery, including responding to customer complaints and resolving issues
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene practices
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and supplies
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
  • Proven experience as a host, server, or cashier; supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management and cost control
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
  • Prior cash handling and experience with MICROS POS system
  • TIPS, CPR, and Serve Safe certification preferred
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Proficient in MS Office and POS systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
