Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the initiation and commissioning of electrical building systems.

Serve as a subject matter expert in evaluating product and equipment submissions, construction drawings, engineering schematics, and specifications, as well as contractor-generated requests for information (RFIs).

Possess comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols, safe working practices, and OSHA regulations pertinent to electrical installations, including but not limited to Lock-Out procedures, Electrical Safe Work Practices, Control of Hazardous Energy, and arc flash safety measures.

Demonstrate in-depth understanding of applicable building codes and industry standards (including but not limited to: IBC, NEC, NESC, NFPA, ASME, AMCA, ARI, AWS, ASHRAE, FM).

Collaborate with construction contractors and equipment suppliers to facilitate factory testing, delivery, installation, commissioning, and handover processes to end users.

Coordinate weekend and plant shutdown activities with contractors, facility management teams, and manufacturing departments.
Conduct ongoing inspections of work progress.
Assist in construction administration tasks related to schedule management, quality assurance, weekly coordination meetings, and planned utility outages.
Perform inspections and evaluations of electrical building systems to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality benchmarks, and relevant codes.
Supervise the activities of electrical contractors to ensure adherence to project delivery methods, timeline targets, and coordination with other teams.
Prepare field engineering reports detailing work progress and timelines for Project Managers.
Provide constructive feedback to enhance project technical specifications and standards.
Exhibit strong communication skills to convey technical information effectively in both written and verbal formats.
Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:
5-10 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 2 years in construction management.
Experience in developing design criteria for electrical systems and industrial construction projects.
Background in automotive engineering related to engine, transmission, or vehicle facilities, or experience with similar industrial manufacturers.
At least 5 years of experience in the electrical design sector.
Strong organizational, communication, and schedule management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.

Educational Background:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
