Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all electrical engineering facets of assigned projects, demonstrating proficiency in engineering principles and methodologies.
  • Assist in the research, design, development, testing, and evaluation of electrical systems and components.
  • Establish design parameters and lead engineering efforts for product development and integration.
  • Create comprehensive engineering documentation, including reports and schematics, to support design and testing processes.
  • Identify and resolve intricate engineering challenges.
  • Recommend solutions for electrical systems and components based on thorough analysis.
  • Conduct simulations and analyses of electronic circuits to propose component alternatives or redesigns.
  • Recognize programmatic issues and contribute to developing effective solutions and process enhancements.
  • Support the ongoing design and improvement of existing electrical systems, addressing obsolescence challenges.
  • Plan and direct engineering activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and requirements.
  • Compile and maintain technical data for analysis and evaluation purposes.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team on various program activities, including stakeholder presentations and technical evaluations.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing proficiency.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, including potential international travel.
  • Must possess a Top-Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with nuclear enterprise missions and associated programs is advantageous.
  • Understanding of DoD Acquisition processes and procedures is a plus.

Compliance with applicable COVID safety protocols is mandatory.
