Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team at MBI Health Services, LLC. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health services to individuals and families in our outpatient facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Clinical Counseling: Deliver structured, ethical, and culturally sensitive clinical counseling services to clients, adhering to District of Columbia licensing and certification standards.
  • Conduct Assessments and Intakes: Conduct thorough assessments and intakes for individuals served, developing treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals.
  • Lead Treatment Teams: Participate in treatment team meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Engage with Clients: Engage new intakes, meeting with them weekly until assignments can be made, and provide ongoing support and guidance throughout their treatment journey.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Collect, enter, and assign therapy clients, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Managers: Work closely with Clinical Managers to assign new intakes to teams, ensuring seamless transitions and effective case management.
  • Provide Clinical Supervision: Offer clinical supervision to the diagnostic and clinician team, ensuring consistency with DBH/MHRS regulations, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree: Possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Licensure: Be licensed in Washington DC as LPC, LICSW, or LMFT.
  • Experience: Preferably 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and time management organizational skills.
