Job Summary

Kin-Etic Behavioral Health (KBH) is a dynamic group of behavioral health professionals and facilitators. We are seeking experienced Mental Health Therapists to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive individual therapy, family counseling, group therapy, or marital/couples treatment.
  • Conduct clinically sound diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans for children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client records.
  • Submit clinical notes for billing purposes within 24 hours of treatment and 72 hours for assessments.
  • Utilize healthcare software electronic medical records (EMR) and computer systems.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, demonstrating professionalism in appearance.
  • Participate in supervision, case reviews, and monthly staff meetings.
Requirements
  • Licensed in the state of Maryland and/or the District of Columbia in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
  • Two years of diagnostic assessment experience and therapeutic treatment services.
  • Flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Writing sample required.
  • Designated work area/office with high-speed internet, computer, chair, table, and door in adherence to HIPAA compliance.
  • CAQH application and Individual NPI number established.
  • Professional malpractice liability insurance policy.
