Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team as a Behavioral Health Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality behavioral health services to our clients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance abuse disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to identify mental health and substance abuse issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address client needs and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapies, including individual, group, and family counseling.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in behavioral health care.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or equivalent from an accredited program.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in good standing.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in behavioral health care, preferably in a government setting.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapies and treatment modalities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with military personnel and their families.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices for treating trauma.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare software systems.
