As a Property Management Associate II at WMFHA, you will play a vital role in assisting the District Manager with the daily operations of a multi-family residential community.

Your duties will encompass resident relations, customer service follow-ups, oversight of on-site staff, and various administrative tasks.

This position requires strong customer service abilities, efficiency in task execution, and a commitment to delivering exemplary service in line with WMFHA's high customer satisfaction standards.

Key Responsibilities of a Property Management Associate II:

- Oversee the financial management of the community, including bill payments, purchase order creation, accounts payable/receivable, and collections.

- Support the District Manager in managing the community budget and achieving operational and financial objectives.

- Assist with training, coaching, and supervising office personnel.

- Manage the collection of overdue rents and prepare delinquency notifications for residents.

- Maintain precise records of all financial transactions; adjust ledgers, prepare and reconcile delinquency reports, and verify necessary adjustments.

- Facilitate ongoing communication with vendors and contractors regarding billing and invoicing.

- Foster positive resident relations by ensuring timely responses to resident inquiries and concerns.

- Mentor Customer Service Representatives and other office staff in their duties and resident interactions.

- Perform general office tasks, including filing, phone duties, and special projects as required.

- Conduct various administrative and computer-related tasks, including email communications and data entry into software systems.

- Draft and distribute correspondence, including rent collection notices, violation letters, and community announcements.

- Participate in property inspections to ensure the community meets WMFHA's quality standards.

- Attend departmental or regional meetings, seminars, and other work-related events.


Qualifications for Success:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in residential property management, with supervisory experience preferred.

- Proficient in personal computer usage, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and property management software.

- Fair Housing certification is required within two weeks of employment.

- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with management, military partners, co-workers, vendors, and residents.

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet operational goals.

- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions.

- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.

- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and emergencies as needed.

- Knowledge of OSHA regulations is a plus.

- Willingness to travel to regional locations for work-related activities.
